SKIN

I'm sure you've all heard the stories of anoretics and their horrors. But have you heard the stories of the anoretic's brother, mother, best friend and their horrors? This book opened my eyes to how the one's closest to the sick are on a roller coaster to pain. The selfishness flooding this world blinds us from seeing how the others are affected yet ignored. I've read this book multiple times, and yet it has taken me this long to realize this. Why is it so hard for us to look past our pain and see their's?

"I'm telling you this because you didn't ask. I've got it all here, growing like a tumor in my throat. I'm telling you because if I don't, I will choke on it."
